Sue started her career as a nurse in 1991 at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle. After working for 7 years in general surgery, Sue moved into the community and worked for 6 years as a Practice Nurse and Community Nurse in Chester - le- Street.
In 2003 Sue moved into Public Health working as a Sexual Health Outreach Worker for NHS County Durham. Sue started her career in management in 2006 still working in sexual health and teenage pregnancy. In 2007 Sue became a member of the Chartered Management Institute and in 2009 she successful achieved a Masters in Public Health.
Sue joined County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust in December 2009 as the Head of Service for the Sexual Health Improvement and Screening Team. In October 2010 she became the Clinical Service Manager - Gynaecology and Sexual Health.
Since leaving school Sue has spent all of her career working in the NHS and has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in contraception and sexual health as well in health promotion, public health and leadership and management. Speciality: Sexual health and Gynaecology
