Gillian was nominated by a patient who she had supported through administered the new Bowen Treatment as a replacement to acupuncture. He also nominated Gillian for her outstanding professionalism and the 100% care she gives to her patients. The patient describes himself as being "highly indebted to her". Gillian was presented the award in front of her colleagues from the pain clinic by Dr Sally Roscoe. Gillian herself was very humbled to receive this as she said she could not have done this without the work of her team.
