Delcy Wells, Head of Clinical Risk Management, nominated the Patient Safety Team for an NHS Heroes award for all the hard work of introducing the Safeguard Risk Management System as well as other important systems and their commitment since the merger with community staff.
Diane Murphy, Acting Director of Nursing presented the certificate to the team.
Tom Monaghan, Systems Manager, accepted the certificate on behalf of the team and said: "It is good that we have been recognised for this award, we have developed and grown as a team and work well together. We could not have achieved this without the support and good leadership from our Safety Lead. We hope the work we have achieved will benefit patients now and for the future."
