Clarissa Mundell, Ward Manager of Ward 6 nominated her team for an NHS Heroes award because she is so proud of how the team have met all the challenges that have come their way since the hospital was reconfigured three years ago.
She said: "They have shown great determination in developing as a team and feedback from patients and relatives is always complimentary."
The team was very happy to have been nominated and they said they are proud of their achievements and they all feel privileged to be nominated for this award.
