Every year, the Trust is proud to acknowledge and reward individual staff and teams who have performed exceptionally at our Annual Awards Ceremony.

This glittering event takes place in November each year and is seen as our "Oscars"!

It is attended by the Trust Executive Team, our Chairman and Governors and is a fantastic social evening that allows our staff to hang up their uniforms, get dressed up and celebrate the achievements, hard work and success of staff and teams of all grades and job roles.

Awards are given in several categories and include each year:

• Learner awards - given to all staff who have completed learning programmes
• Service loyalty awards - given to staff who have given the Trust 20 years service

In addition to the above, special awards are given to staff or teams whose achievements have been recognised in the following categories:

• 

  Prevention first, Public Health and Health Improvement Award
• Shining Star Award
• Leadership for Change Award
• Making a Difference Behind the Scenes Award - judged by members of our Trust Governing Council
• Making me Feel Better Award - nominated by patients or users of our services
• Award for Quality and Innovation
• Chief Executive's Team Award
• In addition to these our Chairman nominates a "Chairmans Quality Award" that is awarded to a category winner from the above list that demonstrates particularly exeptional performance that is likely to have impact and be recognised outside the imnmediate boundaries of our Trust.
