Rainbow Key Workers Bench

Rainbow Key Workers Bench

We are totally delighted to receive our new rainbow keyworkers bench, donated by Fabrications North East.

Business owners Steve Bassett, Tom Wise and Dene Nelson (not pictured) said, 'Our team wanted to do something special in recognition of everything the NHS and Keyworkers have done for our community, so what better way than to use our skills and create a place to rest those weary feet.'

Pat Chambers Charity Development Manager said, 'This is such a wonderful gesture and so very colourful it's hard not to smile when you just look at the bench, even if you're not actually sitting on it. We want to extend our thanks to everyone who contributed (L-R) Tom Wise, Steve Bassett, Ste Wise, Adam Hutchinson and Glen McGough - brilliant teamwork!'

'In recent times, I have utilised admissions to Richardson for respite direct from my fracture clinic, even at weekends. I have never worked anywhere with this efficiency before - it is reassuring and invaluable for the patient.'
