A lasting legacy
People often do not want to think about making a Will, and it is
surprising how many of us die without making one.

your wishes will be carried out after your death; it ensures that
your family and loved ones are taken care of in the way that you
Legacies form a key part of the on-going funding of County
Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, and gifts that have
been left to us have helped us to continue to provide our vital
services in the local area.
All legacies we receive are spent locally, benefitting patients

Many people don't think they are wealthy enough to make a

When you decide to leave a gift to County Durham &
Darlington NHS Foundation Trust in your Will, and, if you feel it
is appropriate, please do let us know. Knowing about legacies
helps us plan for the future. It also gives us the
opportunity to say "thank you" now. When you
do tell us, you immediately become a County Durham & Darlington
NHS Foundation Trust benefactor. As such, we are able to show
you our appreciation and keep you informed of our work,
particularly areas that are important to you.
If you would like to leave a gift to County Durham &
Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, please contact our Director of
Finance via the main switchboard on 01325 380 100 or via
firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively, if you are a Solicitor
who needs to arrange a legacy to be transferred to this
organisation, please also contact the Director of Finance who will
advise of the process.
