Restoring Physical Attendance at Open Board Meetings

Further to the national shift into a time of 'living with' Covid-19, the Trust has been progressively enabling meetings to be attended in person. We have, until this time, been maintaining the offering of a virtual attendance to the Public Board meetings and due to the current prevalence of respiratory conditions in both our hospitals and community, the Trust has taken the decision to maintain a virtual only public attendance for the January 2023 Open Board meeting, as it will be held on a hospital site.

Please be assured that from March 2023 we will be looking to invite public attendees back in person. We are also looking at off-site venues to facilitate this.

In order to be provided with a link for the January 2023 Board meeting, we would ask you to get in touch with our Foundation Trust Office via: cdda-tr.Foundation@nhs.net to register your interest. A link will then be shared in the lead up to the meeting.

We do ask for all attendees to follow some virtual meeting etiquette:

  • For all attendees to have their cameras turned on, as it will allow the Board to be able to address the public when presenting their reports
  • For all attendees to keep their microphones muted as this will help avoid any unnecessary disruptions

When you join the link you will be held in a virtual lobby until we enable you to access the meeting. There can be a delay in the meeting starting so we would ask that you be patient or if you have any concerns to contact our FT Office.

Our next open board meeting is on Wednesday 25th January 2023 and we look forward to welcoming virtual attendees.

We publish agendas and supporting documents in advance of the meeting and these can be accessed by clicking on the links to the right of this page.  Please note that you may need to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player - this is free and instructions will be provided if you click on the link that appears.  Depending on your device, you may then need to select Adobe Acrobat if you see an 'open with' option.

If you require any of the documents found on these pages in an alternative format, please do not hesitate to get in touch with the Foundation Trust Office via their email address: cdda-tr.Foundation@nhs.net
