Free Easter Woodland Walk

Healthworks, the healthy living centre in Easington in cooperation with the Get Active team, the Visitwoods and Natural England, is offering local people in County Durham an Easter Walking Event.

There will be two walks which take place on Thursday 21 April from 10.30am - 12.30am or 1.30pm - 3.30pm, at Castle Eden Dene in Peterlee, with meeting point the Visitors Lodge, Durham Way, Peterlee. 

The walk is accessible to all ages and abilities and is going to be led by qualified walk leaders. Grab your walking boots dress in comfortable and for the weather conditions clothes and give yourself the opportunity to relax, indulge in the beauty of nature and meet new people.'

Chris Affleck will be promoting www.visitwood.org.uk, a comprehensive website showcasing all publicly accessible woodland in the UK.

Healthworks works in partnership with NHS County Durham and Darlington, County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, Northumbrian Water and Durham County Council.
