Healthworks, the healthy living centre in Easington is offering all people in County Durham the opportunity to participate in a new three weeks computer and internet course for FREE.

The course will be starting on Tuesday 12 July 2011 from 3.00pm - 5.00pm and will continue on Tuesday 19 and 26 July 2011 at the same times and will give the opportunity to all the participants to upgrade their computer skills and learn how to use internet.


Aristea Stathopoulou business administration and events volunteer with County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust Health Improvement Services at Healthworks said: 'If you have never used the internet or even a computer, and do not know where to start, this is the perfect opportunity to learn the basics. Our course is carefully designed to meet the needs of beginners and guide them through the process by following simple steps and procedures. We want you to use the internet; therefore call in to sign up to the course and entered into our prize draw.'

Healthworks, the healthy living centre works in partnership with NHS County Durham and Darlington, County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust , Northumbrian Water and Durham County Council.

Healthworks is located in Easington, County Durham and provides a wide range of health information, activities and support to those living in Easington, and the surrounding area.
