The TUC national day of action on pension changes takes place on 30 November.  Locally the Trust has been working with the Unions to ensure that patient safety is not compromised.  However, there are reduced levels of elective activity throughout the Trust.

 

ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY, URGENT CARE AND ACUTE SERVICES  Emergency and acute care will continue as normal, including acute admissions and discharges, urgent care and accident and emergency. 

OUTPATIENTS If you have an outpatient appointment on 30 November, please attend your appointment as planned. 

PLANNED SURGERY If you are booked to be admitted for a procedure on 30 November, please attend your appointment as planned.

COMMUNITY SERVICES We expect planned activity, including home visits, to go ahead.

HEALTH IMPROVEMENT SERVICES expects to continue planned appointments as usual. In preparation for the 30th November, the service has rescheduled some appointments where necessary and these clients have been informed. If clients have appointments on the 30th   and have not received notification otherwise, then they should attend as planned.
