Elderly Care

The Elderly Care department provides a range of services catering for the elderly population of County Durham and Darlington with specialists in stroke, Parkinson's disease, orthogeriatrics, heart failure and falls and syncope.

We provide in patient services at Darlington Memorial Hospital, Bishop Auckland General Hospital, University Hospital of North Durham and also support in patient rehabilitation at Shotley Bridge and Chester le Street hospitals.

We are supported by a team of specialist staff in rehabilitation at Bishop Auckland General Hospital where there exits a seven day therapy service provision.
