The Oral Health Promotion Team

A team of three Oral Health Advisors and one Oral Health Promotion Lead with a county wide remit.
The Oral Health Promotion Team offer free training sessions for health/social care and education professionals and practical, on-site training to support carers of adults and children with additional needs.

We can offer information to health care professionals running support groups about the range of dental services available, referral routes, keeping mouths healthy and making dental visits easier, alongside advice on specific problems, such as managing challenging behaviours whilst carrying out mouth care, as well as guidance on making healthy food choices.
