Physiotherapy

Who are we?

  • We are a team of Chartered Physiotherapists (CP) registered with the Health Professions Council. 
  • Physiotherapists treat the human body and its movement using physical approaches, thereby reducing pain, restoring function and enabling you to manage your condition.
  • We are part of a multi-disciplinary team and work closely with many professionals including Orthotists, Podiatrists and Consultants throughout many specialist services.

How can I access the service?

  • Your GP or consultant.
  • Self-referral (for outpatient services only, please complete and return the self referral form, which can be obtained from your GP practice, the physiotherapy deptartment or downloaded from the link under 'Related publications' to the right of this page).  This service is only accessible for ages 16+.

What do I need to remember? 

  • Please wear suitable clothing for examination and exercise.
  • Please arrive on time and contact the deptartment if unable to attend for any reason.
  • Inform the deptartment if you need any additional help, e.g. interpreter, chaperone, etc.
