Finding out that you are going to have a baby is a happy time but it can sometimes be confusing and you might feel that you do not understand everything about pregnancy and its changes. We want to provide care that meets your needs, we will all work together with you to help you during your pregnancy and after you have had your baby.
We want to help you provide your baby with a good start in life and be aware of what support we offer to help you with your parenting. This way you will feel comfortable asking questions and speaking to midwives and doctors.
We aim to provide education in an easy to read or see way so that the information about your pregnancy and your baby meets your own needs. Everyone has different circumstances and some families may need more of this support or more time to learn about things.
We will offer accessible information and make sure that there is always someone you can trust throughout your pregnancy and afterwards.
Most importantly we will always work together with you, for you.
We have a booklet that you can look at and fill in, it will let you tell us what you want us to know about you, and things that are important to you. Click here to download and fill in your own hospital passport.
