What type of appointments are available?

We run appointment clinics where we prefer you to phone us in advance and book a specific time to attend for your consultation.  We also run 'queue and wait' clinics where you can attend without an appointment - patients are largely seen on a first-come-first-served basis but your waiting time will also depend on the services you require.  We aim to see our 'queue and wait' patients within an hour of arriving in the department, but waiting times can vary especially if the clinic is very busy. Depending on the number of patients waiting, we sometimes have to close 'queue and wait' clinics to further patients who may arrive.  If this is necessary we will assess your needs and offer you a suitable alternative appointment.

'I have to compliment everyone on their pleasant persona and their expertise and knowledge. By the end of the 5 days, I did not feel as though I had been in a hospital ward and was very relaxed.'
