Credentialling Service

Supplier Credentialling Service

All supplier representatives are required to register with the IntelliCentrics supplier credentialing system in advance of a meeting with Trust personnel and provide the relevant credentials as requested by the Trust.

The supplier representative are required to login into their account to request a meeting, once this has been done an email is generated into cdda.tr.appointments@nhs.net this is a prompt for Procurement to log into the system check all credentials are fully compliant and validate the meeting.

If credentials are not in place Procurement will liaise with the representative to advise what the issues are, note the appointment will not be validated until the user account has been updated.

Depending on the area the company representative requires to visit on the day of their allocated appointment they must report to a check-in location so they can be booked in and issued with a day pass which must be displayed at all times.

Check-in locations are theatres (UHND, DMH, BAH) clinical engineering (UHND, DMH) main stores (UHND, DMH) main outpatient reception (BAH) and main receptions at our community locations.

Alternatively company representatives are able to self check-in on arrival via the Sec3ure mobile app providing they have a validated appointment by Procurement. Please note, representatives still are required to go to a check-in location to print a day pass.

Outside of the above rules, Clinical Engineering can override the requirement of an appointment for their representatives and or theatres when they have a trauma case.

Check out is required once the meeting has concluded either via check-in location or by mobile app.

Any supplier representative who bypasses this process risks being escorted off-site, and appropriate steps taken to ensure accreditation is obtained for future meetings. Cold calling is not permitted.

For health and safety reasons, representatives with approved appointments must not make unaccompanied visits to wards or buildings in the Trust which may bring them into contact with patients or into restricted areas of the Trust.

If a meeting has been agreed in one of our community locations the same process must be followed. Visits must not contravene Trust or NHS policies or the Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry Code of Practice.

'In recent times, I have utilised admissions to Richardson for respite direct from my fracture clinic, even at weekends. I have never worked anywhere with this efficiency before - it is reassuring and invaluable for the patient.'
