Urology is the surgical speciality that focuses on the urinary tracts of males and females and on the reproductive system of males.

The organs covered by urology include the kidneys urinary bladder urethra and the male reproductive.

The Trust provides a comprehensive range of outpatient clinics at Richardson Hospital and Darlington Memorial Hospital, with day case and inpatient treatment at Darlington Memorial Hospital.

Paediatric Surgery: Elective paediatric surgery is offered above the age of two years. This includes circumcision and correction of hernias and undescended testes.
