"………we are grateful for how helpful the library staff are.

They are an amazing team to deal with".

Welcome to CDDFT Library and Knowledge Services

The Trust has two libraries, one at Prospect House (near UHND) and another at Darlington Memorial Hospital (in the Education Centre). We provide a service to all CDDFT staff including those working in the community and students on placement within the Trust and all are welcome to use the libraries and the resources, services and facilities they provide.

Our aim is to enable the delivery of evidence based practice patient care, through the provision of a high quality and responsive library and information service that supports all staff. Our libraries support you in the work that you do, in your learning and development and any research activities that you may undertake.

Meet some of the Library Services team and hear more about what services they can provide in this short video.

'As I was very, very nervous, I must have been the worst patient ever and they were brilliant with me and I can't thank them enough - could you please pass on my sincere thanks.'
