Find all information relating to our library services below

Here at CDDFT we have two libraries;

DMH library which located at the Education Centre on the ground floor of the hospital. This library is open Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. Out of hours access is available, please speak to the library direct or email them at for further information on this.

UHND library which is located at Prospect House, a short walk away from the main hospital building. This library is open Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. There is a café area within this library with seating and vending machines. There is no out of hours available for this library.


At both sites we provide support to staff, students and trainees at all levels. Our resources to help provide this support consist of;

• Specialist e-Resources
• BMJ Best Practice
• UpToDate
• NHS Knowledge and Library Hub
