About our service

Our dedicated, skilled and experienced Audiologists provide a comprehensive Audiology and Hearing Aid Service across County Durham and Darlington. We offer both adult and paediatric services covering hearing testing, hearing aids, hearing therapy, tinnitus, balance and dizziness, and bone anchored hearing aids.    

How to access our services

Services are delivered via our main centres at University Hospital North Durham, and Darlington Memorial Hospital. A number of clinics also take place at various other locations within the community including Bishop Auckland Hospital, Shotley Bridge Hospital, Chester-le-Street Community Hospital, Richardson Hospital (Barnard Castle), and Sedgefield Community Hospital.

We are open from Monday to Saturday, with appointments ranging from 8am – 6pm, reception is open from 8.30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. We aim to offer as much flexibility as possible.

Lost hearing aids

If you have lost your hearing aid or ear mould or carelessly damaged it beyond repair (e.g. dog chewed) you will be charged for this to be replaced. Please contact reception to arrange an appointment.
