We provide a minor injuries service Monday to Friday 08:00-20:00 from Peterlee Community Hospital. This also includes an urgent treatment centre service out of hours from 18:00-00:00 and during these hours on weekends and bank holidays. Please note this is not a walk-in service. Please use 111 online or call 111 to be directed to the most appropriate service which may then be an appointment for these services.

Urgent Treatment Centre

Minor injuries service open Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm. The Urgent Treatment Centre service is open Monday to Friday from 8pm to midnight and 8am to midnight on weekends and bank holidays.

You can get an appointment to be seen at our Urgent Treatment Centre by contacting 111 online or calling 111. If suitable, NHS 111 may be able to book you an appointment. Having an appointment means you can arrive at your allocated time and will usually be seen more quickly than if you attend as a walk in patient.
