An online careers event showcasing opportunities in Nutrition and Dietetics will take place on Wednesday 29 April 2026, from 3:00pm to 5:30pm, hosted on Microsoft Teams. The event is organised by County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The session is designed for anyone interested in exploring a career in Dietetics, including students, career changers, and those currently studying or working in related subjects such as nutrition, science, or public health.
Attendees will gain an overview of dietetic training routes, career pathways, and the wide range of roles within NHS Nutrition and Dietetic teams.
The programme includes talks from dietitians working across multiple clinical specialties, insights into life as a student and newly qualified dietitian, information on apprenticeship and assistant roles, and opportunities to ask questions throughout the event. A certificate of attendance will be provided to support career development.
