sexual health. Our team includes health advisors, doctors,
sexual health nurses and support staff who are friendly,
non-judgmental and will be happy to advise on any matters
related to sexual health.
Our services are free, confidential and open to people of
all ages (including under 16s).

Sexual Health Services have been scaled down with venues being
closed or relocated and staff being resourced to alternative
venues. We are also mindful of the need for social distancing. As
such we are no longer able to provide walk-in or face-to-face
services in a regular manner.
All patients requiring advice will undergo full clinical triage
by phone with a qualified staff member in a timescale appropriate
to their need.

Darlington Contraception clinics have reopened and are now
running at the following times but for both staff and patient
safety we will not be offering walk-in appointments for the
foreseeable future and this clinic has been replaced with
prebookable appointments at the following times:
- Monday 9am-1pm
- Wednesday & Thursday - 4.30pm-8.30pm
- Saturday - 9am-1pm
During this call you will be asked a series of questions
to help identify if you may be experiencing symptoms of Coronavirus
(COVID-19) The questions are as

- A new continuous cough and /or
- A high temperature
- A loss or change to your sense of smell or
- Have you been in touch with someone diagnosed or
suspected to have Coronavirus
If you have symptoms of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) however
mild we will advise you to follow the latest Government advice. If
you have a sexual health or contraception concern we will arrange
for a Doctor or Nurse to call you back. They can then discuss an
appropriate plan of care with you.
Anyone attending an appointment in our clinics will need to wear
a face covering and adhere to social distancing.
