Outpatient letters via NHS App

Some outpatient appointment letters are now sent via our Patient Engagement Portal, accessible through the NHS App. This enables patients to receive their appointment information more quickly and access letters digitally on a smartphone, tablet, or computer, rather than waiting for postal delivery. 

Please let us know as early as possible

We understand that sometimes an appointment needs to be cancelled or rearranged. If that happens, please let us know as early as possible so your appointment slot can be given to another patient. There should be a contact phone number on your appointment letter or an email address if you received your appointment details that way. If you made your appointment via the e-referral system or via the NHS app there will also be options to cancel or rearrange your appointment through those routes.
