Trust Chairman, Professor Richard Scothon, recently visited the Resourcing Team based at Bishop Auckland Hospital to learn more about their work and thank them for their vital contribution to the organisation.
During the visit, Professor Scothon met with team members responsible for Recruitment, Bank, and Agency services across County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust (CDDFT).
The team outlined their wide-ranging responsibilities, including the management of Bank and Agency staffing, the promotion of new vacancies, handling visa-related enquiries, and ensuring that all new employees successfully complete pre-employment checks.
Professor Scothon took the opportunity to thank the Resourcing Team for their dedication and hard work, highlighting the crucial role they play in supporting the Trust’s operational excellence and maintaining the highest standards.
