CDDFT Endoscopy Service Awarded 'Team of the Month'

Colleagues in our Endoscopy Service have been named County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust’s Team of the Month for July 2026.

The team was recognised for its exceptional teamwork, flexibility and commitment to reducing waiting lists and improving access to timely care across the service. Their nomination highlighted the way clinical, nursing, administrative and support colleagues have worked together to maximise capacity, introduce new ways of working and maintain high standards of patient safety and quality.

Members of our Executive Team recently visited the team to personally congratulate them on their well-deserved achievement.

Our Team of the Month initiative celebrates teams that make a positive impact on patients. Nominations are welcomed from colleagues across the Trust, and every story shared demonstrates the incredible work of our teams and the difference they make to our patients and local communities.
