On Friday 12 September, the Trust was delighted and honoured to host an awards ceremony recognising the outstanding contributions of four of our Healthcare Support Workers (HCSWs), who were nominated for and won NHS England’s Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) Healthcare Support Worker Excellence Award.
The CNO Awards were developed to celebrate healthcare support workers who consistently demonstrate the NHS values in their everyday roles, going above and beyond to provide compassionate, high-quality care.
The event was hosted by Kathryn Burn, Executive Director of Nursing, and Anna Telfer, Deputy Director of Nursing, with Victoria Bagshaw, Regional Workforce Lead – NHS England, presenting the awards.
