In celebration of National Apprenticeship Week (10 - 16 February), the apprenticeship team at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, is hosting additional drop-in information sessions across the Trust’s main hospital sites.

These sessions provide an excellent opportunity for staff and members of the local community to explore apprenticeship options and learn how they can earn while they learn.

Apprenticeships offer existing staff a chance to develop their skills and advance their careers, while also creating accessible pathways for new talent to enter the workforce.

Whether you are considering an apprenticeship for yourself or your team, these sessions will provide valuable insights into available opportunities.

Drop-in information sessions

  • Shotley Bridge Community Hospital – Wednesday 14 May – 09:00-10:00

  • Chester-le-Street Community Hospital – Wednesday 14 May – 11:00-12:00

Both the Training and Development team and the Practice Education team will continue to visit these sites regularly, ensuring ongoing support for those interested in apprenticeships.

If you are unable to attend any of the scheduled sessions, keep an eye out for future dates.
