The Trust proudly hosted its first T-Level Celebration Event on Monday 15 June, recognising the achievements of second-year T-Level students who have completed industry placements across a range of clinical and non-clinical services over the past two years.
The event celebrated the dedication and hard work of students who have spent one day each week working alongside Trust colleagues, gaining valuable experience and seeing how the knowledge developed in the classroom is applied in real healthcare settings.
This academic year also marked an important milestone with the Trust's first non-clinical T-Level placement within the Digital IT team.
The day began with an NHS interview skills session delivered by the Training and Development team, providing students with practical advice and techniques to support future job applications.
Students described the session as extremely beneficial in preparing them for the next stage of their careers.
In the afternoon, college staff joined the celebrations alongside colleagues from the Clinical Simulation team, who delivered an engaging programme of interactive learning.

The activities highlighted the growing role of technology in developing and training the future healthcare workforce.
The event concluded with a certificate presentation recognising each student's contribution and commitment throughout their placements.
There was further cause for celebration as two T-Level students were successfully appointed as Healthcare Assistants following recent recruitment events.
They will now continue their careers as members of the Trust, while several other students expressed their hopes of returning to the Trust after completing their university studies.
The success of the Trust's T-Level programme is made possible through the dedication of colleagues who support and mentor students throughout their placements.
Their commitment continues to provide invaluable learning opportunities and helps inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.
