Last week, Chief Executive Sue Jacques, accompanied by Lisa Quinn, Non-Executive Director, and Ana Etchells, Associate Non-Executive Director, visited Chester-Le-Street Community Hospital to meet teams and see services in action.
The visiting team were impressed by the calm, welcoming environment across the site, from the clean and well-organised wards to the child-friendly paediatrics area and the outstanding therapy and MSK facilities.
Staff shared examples of excellent teamwork and patient care, alongside the benefits of flexible working arrangements that support staff wellbeing.
Sue Jacques, Lisa Quinn, and Ana Etchells thanked colleagues for their pride, resilience, and commitment to patients, particularly in the face of pressures across services.
