Cathy Harvey, Chair of the Maternity and Neonatal Voices in Partnership (MNVP), has retired after 20 years of dedicated advocacy for families across County Durham and Darlington.
Cathy stepped down from her role on Tuesday 31 March 2026, marking the end of two decades of tireless work championing the voices of women, babies and families.
Throughout her time as Chair, she has played a vital role in ensuring that service user feedback has remained at the heart of maternity and neonatal care.
Working closely with maternity colleagues and our communications teams, Cathy has been a passionate and trusted advocate, helping to shape and improve services through collaboration, insight and a strong commitment to listening to lived experiences.
Her contribution has made a lasting difference to the care and support received by families across County Durham and Darlington.
