We are delighted to congratulate Chris Cunnington-Shore, one of our Healthwatch Governors, who has been awarded an MBE in the King’s New Year Honours 2026 for services to Magistracy and Healthcare.
Chris is one of just 12 people in County Durham to receive this prestigious recognition, highlighting his long-standing commitment to public service and his significant contribution to both the healthcare sector and the magistracy.
Throughout his work, Chris has demonstrated unwavering dedication, integrity, and a deep commitment to improving outcomes for individuals and communities.
This honour is a reflection of the positive impact he has made over many years and the respect he has earned across both fields.
