Angela Ellis, Programme Manager for Diabetic Eye Screening, and Marta Hudson-Skwara, Advanced Screener/Grader, recently represented our Trust at EURETINA 2025, held in Paris from 4–7 September.

EURETINA is one of the world’s leading gatherings in ophthalmology, bringing together clinicians, researchers, and innovators to share the latest developments in eye science and patient care.

Reflecting on the experience, Angela said: “It was inspiring to connect with colleagues from around the globe, explore the latest advancements, and exchange ideas that will help shape the future of Ophthalmology and Diabetic Eye Screening.”

As part of the conference, both Angela and Marta were invited to take part in the Canon symposium, where they had the opportunity to engage with international experts and highlight the important work being carried out within our Diabetic Eye Screening Programme.

We extend a special thank you to Canon-Sense Medical for the opportunity to attend and for including Angela and Marta in their symposium — a fantastic platform to share insights from our Trust and contribute to the global conversation on diabetic eye care.
