Apprenticeships are an excellent opportunity for those new to the NHS and existing staff looking to develop their skills.

They also provide a fantastic way to connect with our local community, offering the chance to earn while learning.

Whether you're looking to develop new skills, upskill existing staff, or simply want to understand more about what’s available, our upcoming apprenticeship drop-in sessions are a great place to start.

Come along for an informal chat with members of the Training and Development and Practice Education teams, who will be on hand to answer your questions, provide advice, and guide you through the options available.

Upcoming Drop-In Sessions:

  • Bishop Auckland Hospital Restaurant – Wednesday 23 July, 12:00–13:00

  • University Hospital of North Durham Restaurant – Tuesday 19 August, 13:00–14:00

  • Darlington Memorial Hospital Restaurant – Thursday 25 September, 13:00–14:00

These sessions are open to all and no appointment is necessary – just drop by and have a conversation about how apprenticeships can benefit your career or team.

Can’t make it? Don’t worry – our teams will continue to visit all three hospital sites on a regular basis. Keep an eye out for future dates, or get in touch by emailing cddft.apprenticeship@nhs.net with any questions or to express interest in enrolment.

Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to grow talent and invest in our future workforce – we look forward to seeing you soon.
