Insight into a vital NHS role

The event is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) position. Attendees will gain valuable insight into day-to-day responsibilities, the skills required for the role, and the important contribution HCSWs make to patient care.

Visitors will also learn about career development opportunities within the Trust, including pathways for progression and further training.

Opportunity to apply on the day

Following the session, attendees will have the opportunity to apply for available roles within CDDFT. Those who meet the criteria may then be invited to attend a formal interview day as part of the recruitment process.

Entry requirements

To attend the event, individuals must meet the standard entry requirements for a Healthcare Support Worker role. This includes holding GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, bringing original certificates on the day, and having the right to work in the UK.

The Trust has confirmed that visa sponsorship is not available for these roles.

Booking essential due to high demand

Sessions will run throughout the day; however, places are limited, and advance booking is required. Prospective attendees are encouraged to secure their place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
