Congratulations to our Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy Service, which has been named County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust’s very first Team of the Month.
The team was recognised for its outstanding work in transforming the MSK service through digital innovation.
Their successful implementation of SystmConnect and redesign of patient pathways has improved access to care, enhanced the patient experience and helped create a more efficient and sustainable service.
The nomination also highlighted the enthusiasm, collaboration and commitment shown by colleagues across the MSK service in embracing new ways of working and successfully embedding these improvements for the benefit of patients.
Steve Russell, Chief Executive, and Alison Marshall, Interim Chair, recently visited the team to present their Team of the Month certificate and personally congratulate colleagues on their well-deserved achievement.
The Team of the Month award celebrates teams that make a positive impact on patients, colleagues, services or organisational improvement.
The Trust received an excellent response to its first round of nominations, showcasing the dedication, compassion and teamwork taking place across County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust every day.
