The main entrance at University Hospital of North Durham is now secured overnight between 10:00pm and 6:00am, in line with pre-COVID access arrangements.
During these hours, all entry and exit to the hospital will be via the emergency department entrance only.
This update is part of ongoing efforts to maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors during overnight hours.
We kindly ask all colleagues, patients, and visitors to plan accordingly and use the emergency department entrance if attending the hospital during the overnight period.
