Please be advised that the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) at University Hospital of North Durham (UHND) will be temporarily relocated this weekend to enable essential flooring works to take place.
From 5pm on Friday 11 April until 8am on Monday 14 April, the UTC will operate from the ENT area in Main Outpatients at University Hospital of North Durham.
Signage will be clearly displayed to guide patients to the temporary location.
As part of the planned maintenance, flooring in the Outpatients Department (OPD) will be replaced, meaning there will be no access via the main waiting areas and reception in OPD during this time.
Patients attending OPD clinics and Urgent Care services will instead be seen in OPD Areas 3 and 4, which are located further along the corridor. Access will be via alternative entrances to these areas.
