County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust invested £1.2 million to transform the Outpatients A department at Darlington Memorial Hospital, to enhance care and comfort.
This bright, modern facility has been carefully designed to improve patient experience and working conditions for staff, featuring upgraded consultation spaces, state-of-the-art equipment, and a more welcoming environment.
A standout feature of the refurbishment is a stunning mural, generously gifted by the Trust’s charity, adding a vibrant and calming touch to the space.
Additionally, patients can enjoy beautiful photography captured by former consultant Dr. Foden, celebrating the Trust’s history and dedication to care.
This new unit houses some of the Outpatient Clinics which were on C Floor, and can be accessed via entrance C, past the Emergency Department.
To showcase these exciting improvements, Sister Vinny takes viewers on an exclusive video tour of the newly transformed Outpatients A.
