Colleagues from Ward 43 at Darlington Memorial Hospital have shown incredible generosity by donating gifts to Dunelm’s Christmas Tags appeal, helping to make Christmas a little brighter for children and families in the local community.
Despite the pressures facing everyone in the current financial climate, staff on the ward chose to come together and purchase gifts out of their own pockets. Their support contributes to a much-loved community campaign that provides essential items and Christmas presents to local charities, schools, care homes and community groups.
The Dunelm Christmas Tags appeal aims to ensure that people who might otherwise go without a gift at Christmas receive something meaningful during the festive season. Each tag includes a requested item, allowing donors to purchase a specific gift for someone in need.
The kindness shown by Ward 43 reflects the compassion and community spirit that defines our Trust. Their contribution will make a real difference to children and families who may be facing difficult circumstances this winter.
Thank you to everyone on Ward 43 for helping to spread some festive cheer.
