We understand that coming into hospital can be stressful for patients and their families. Our staff are here to help, often in busy and challenging circumstances, and are dedicated to supporting you with care, professionalism, and respect.

Our commitment

We are clear that violence, aggression, or abuse towards staff will not be tolerated. This includes verbal abuse, threats, and physical assault. Where behaviour puts staff, patients, or visitors at risk:

• Individuals may be asked to leave the site
• Access to services may be restricted where clinically appropriate
• Serious incidents may be reported to the police

These measures help ensure our hospitals remain safe places for care.
