Having a healthy balanced diet improves chances of:
- Reducing treatment side effects.
- Stopping delays in your care.
- Getting better quicker.
- Help keeping up your strength.
- Improving your immune system.
- Improving your energy levels.
What you can do to improve your diet:
- Have small regular meals every four hours.
- Eat protein such as meat, fish, lentils and eggs with each meal.
- Drink 6-8 cups of fluid daily.
- Avoid alcohol and salt.
