Baby is safest:

Babies cry for lots of reasons:

  • They might be hungry
  • They might be tired
  • They might just want a cuddle
  • Sometimes you’ve done everything you can and they still cry
  • That can feel really hard

You can help by:

  • Giving the parent/carer a few minutes to rest
  • Offering to cuddle baby
  • Making someone a drink

If you’re helping to care for our baby, the best thing you can do is stay calm.
